This opening and closing aid was designed for the official Amazon cover for the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Generation. It is intended to make independent use of the Kindle easier, especially for people with limited hand or finger mobility.
The magnetic cover lies flat when closed, which can make it difficult to grip and lift.
The aid simply slides onto one corner of the cover and requires no glue or modification. The two extended sides protrude beyond the edge of the cover and are raised above the table or other surface when the Kindle is lying flat. This allows a finger to slide easily underneath and lift the cover. The opposite side can be used in the same way to make closing the cover easier.
Compatibility:
Designed and tested with the official Amazon cover for the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Generation. The cover is approximately 2.5 mm thick. The aid may also work with other Kindle covers of a similar thickness.
